AA led to a very unusual form of protest

http://www.gamespy.com/pc/americas-army/709854p1.html

a guy got himself killed time and time again on purpose. Each time he had changed his name to one of the soldiers that died in Iraq. took screenshots. lather, rinse and repeat..

There's persistence for ya. I'm sure I'd get sick of it after just a few deaths. [/b]
How annoying. I'd be calling for admins if I was in game with him. OMG FLOODKICK PLZ

Yeah, what a douche, he probably joined a normal pub game, joined the team (who was probably expecting someone to play normally) and decided to take up a slot and be useless and ruin his teams fun.

Way to do it as someone else's expense, there are places to protest and it's not in a video game, it's like running into a chest tournament then playing a game and purposely leading all your pieces to suicide and screaming "PRIVATE JENKINS" or other such nonsense when your 4th pawn dies.

How stupid.

The US doesn't use AA to train soldiers. It is a tool to recruit.

I don't know why people think it is this major training propaganda game. It really isn't.

Funny, I saw a documentary on it where they (both the army and the developers) specifically said it was developed for both a combat situation training tool and released to the public as a PR recruitment tool. They used pre-recorded action sequences from the game to demonstrate combat maneuvers. Easier than a white board...
