I took my time once and saw through all Harry Potter movies. Quite interesting, but just too unserious.
Lord of the Rings movies were quite ok, especially the first part, second following, and third being lest interesting. Since they're more directed towards adult auditory, I chose the LOTR movies. |

I didn't like the LOTR movies either, but since I understand this is about the whole thing ie the books as well... u must be kiddin :blink:

I don't care about the films, but, about the books, there is no way that Harry Potter can beat LOTR.

Tolkien is the man!
Harry Potter is childish book. Full of lame made up words that only might sound interesting in english... What can beat the orcs vs. humans war? Harry Potter? ha, ha, ha... He is interestng but not good. where are the armies? to me those movies looked like someone was making stuff up as they went on. Baruk Khazad!!!!!!!!

Both of them are good fantasy films. Harry Potter is more for the kids than LOTR I think.
