![]() Does anyone know what ingredients you need for the HUMBOLG potion?

![]() Hey Guys,
I'm stuggling to get this game to run properly in Dosbox, when I first tried it the game worked but without sound, when I changed it in the setup to soundblaster, the games sound works but the screen is black, no picture at all! If anyone has any ideas/suggestions on how to get the game running with sound, please let me know! Cheers, Daniel. |

![]() Change the sound to Sound Blaster 16 (or Pro, if no option for SB 16), IRQ 7, DMA 1, Adress 220.
And yes, the latter three settings are quite important. If you have entered incorrect values for them, the game will crash. |

![]() Hi Fifth Horseman,
Cheers for the response, the setting in the dosbox.conf file are as standard, sbtype=sb16 sbbase=220 irq=7 dma=1 hdma=5 mixer=true oplmode=auto oplrate=22050 In game you just have the following options, http://s176.photobucket.com/albums/w199/th...harsettings.jpg You cannot manually configure anything else. I'm really stumped by this! Daniel. |

![]() try increasomg your cycles with ctrl+F12. 3000 is not realy much and it can cause problems..
it depends on your computer, how much do you have to raise you cycles. im running on 15000 for example Or you can try letting dosbox choose for you- go to dosbox.cfg and change line "cycles=3000" to "cycles=auto"
