Back in the good old days (1990-1992) I used to play a shooter game on my trusty old 286. Perhaps somebody can help me find this great old game?
The game used plain 3D graphics, no textures or anything. You flew this triangular red hovering spacecraft over a green checkerboard undulating terrain. You were supposed to eliminate all enemies on the level in order to advance to the next. The enemies came out of this box, which opened to let out the other flying enemies. You used the mouse to fly and had unlimited ammo. The ammo looked like yellow peas if I remember correctly. The closest thing I've been able to find is Frontier Development's Virus game. The difference was that in this game I'm looking for you did not have to concentrate on keeping the hovering spacecraft level. It fit on a floppy, ran under DOS and had color graphics (EGA or VGA). Any help or pointer would be appreciated. - Zed |

I've heard about this game. It was one of the first home computer FPS games, though it never got the credit Wolfenstein 3d did.
