It had an odd name that was like 3 characters long or it may have been a short form. It was on the Dominator disk and was a turn-based strategy. Where you have units and you can move them then attack an enemy unit. There were 2 different versions on the Dominator disk. Sorry that I don't really have any more help to give.

Maybe this can be of any help? It is a longshot, but since Dominator was made by that company (and Moby's reviews and details about the game doesn't mention extra games that came with Dominator - I am guessing that they just threw in an old game or a demo for a new one).
It's only 19 games to browse through, so that should be easy enough.

Turn based strategy with three letters? Sounds like M.A.X to me, aka Mechanized Assault and Exploration. Kickass game!

Do you remember what was the setting of the game? Was it based on sci-fi/ww2/fantasy?
