There is a version for DOS, according to mobygames.

That Undercroft certainly looks interesting. Good there's a Windows version avaiable, I might check it out...
Devil's Whiskey looks to me as a weak game with weak story though. Not much to offer.

Undercroft certainly is interesting. The window version however is not scaled to full screen. It is most likely just a port of its Pocket PC version. The gameplay is not like Bard's Tale, but is similar to Lands of Lore 1 and Eye of the Beholder, in that the combat system is real-time (I like it ). You get to name the characters, just like in EOB. Your characters don't get penalty for walking into walls/obstacles, unlike in Dungeon Master. No need to concern about torch (at least that is my impression from the demo). I don't recall about food necessity either (I might be wrong, it's been several months since I played the demo), but you do get to collect some fruit (apple, if I'm not mistaken). Movement is tile-based (step-by-step, frame-by-frame), not fluid, and this is another point I like (since I won't get motion sickness I already mentioned in the original post above). Automap is present, and IMHO is presented better than in Red Shift's Legacy series (http://www.redshift.hu/ ). Interface is simple enough to understand. Overall, a good game k:

No, it is for sale, so it's not for Reloaded either. I sort of lost interest about it already. My party dies much too often. It's like in every other turn it will encounter 8 to 10 enemies, each is more powerfull than my characters. A challenge might be okay, a frustration is not. After all, my intention to play a game is to give myself a nice distraction from work and other real life frustration, not to add some more frustration into my life. So, dying much too often in a game is not my definition of having fun

In the old Bard's Tale you die a lot at first too. you have to run away back to the guild and recover and replace your dead companions with new one's till you get a few guys stronger. the DW is more likely the same. Just takes a while to build up.
