A few people touched on the greatness of this game already, but I just wanted to reiterate it.

This game is a masterpiece. It was/is a terrific 3d engine before there were any other games even close to what these development team created. This game was miles ahead of everyone at the time of it's release. I played through it 3x at different points in my life --- awesome, awesome game!

I am actually disappointed by the user ranking as this was the best ultima game out of the entire series (with props to ultima 4, 7, underworld 2)
