Well, I didn't even knew this thing was used by the Bundeswehr and if it were a swastika on He-Man's chest I would just laugh out loud

So: I'm pretty German and I don't see why I should be offended by He-Man in any way. He's cool :P

No, it's not. It a sign you can see very comonly on medieval stuff. Even if the Nazis would be using it, I really, really don't see the link between them anyways.

Well it might derive from Maltese cross, buit to me it looks more like Iron cross, first awarded on 10 March 1813:
