It was way too easy and the different places (pictures) were very boring....i missed the eyecandy of a good adventure in the game.. [/b][/quote] This is what I meant with an "easy gameplay"... But the movies were cool. It would even say fantastic for the time it was published. Megarace was another game from Cryo I liked much. |

Well, Lost Eden was little childish, especially the story...
But the videos were just amazing then. |

Cryo is still alive. I think the URL is www.cryo-interactive.fr but it seems not to work at the moment.

Dune is a great game
Both the CD and the Floppy version. I think both versions are great. But the floppy are best if you look at it size vs. gameplay/extra features |

I only played the Amiga and DOS Version. The Amiga Version had better music. Some mod I think. The PC floppy version had better graphics (256 colors) and cool blends between the screens. I mean the zoom effects, especially in the intro. Where are the movies about which someone posted here. Only in the intro?

Dune rocks, I've played for a month, and only then I've found the ecologists. I made the whole planet green. there are 2 smugglers, one specialised in arms and other in harvesters and ornis. You can negociate the prices, they'll low a little bit and you can buy the stuff without paying but they wont give you anything else.
Always try to attack in the west and keep Chani by your side. |

There are more smugglers... more like 4 or 5... I don't quite remeber. I am planning to post a map of Dune with all the secret sietches and smugglers... Or at least the ones I've found.. I still think I've missed one or two.

Dune was a great game, a lot of fun to play, with great music to boot (considering the year it was made in). It was just a little too easy, found you could finish the entire game in like 3 or 4 hours.
But still, a really good game. So was Dune II for that matter even though it's a totally different kind of game. :P |
