For some reason ammo is very difficult to find for me these days. I can spend 30 AP searching and if I'm lucky I find 2 pistol clips (Really, this is the fourth time in a row that has happened!).
Still, when you do have luck finding ammo, nothing levels you faster. There's not an axe in the UD world that can beat the trusty shotgun and pistol

No, making it actually harder to get XP from healing when you have first aid than when you don't (fewer chances to heall).

Anyway, firefighters pwn - being able to go straight into the combat side of the game without spending most of your XP searching for ammo = more skills, faster.

Completely false. I have permanently 5 pistols and 3 shotguns on me all the time, and I very rarely miss more than once in a row. Searching for ammo is easier when you search in a PD, right now my habit is to search for ammo and one seryngue one day, then hunt Zombies the following day/resurect comrades and start over again.

I'm now level 14, I can't say it was that hard up to now... :bleh:

Well, I don't know for you but I started with firearms skill. That's 25% more to the base 5% (30%) right to start with, and it's then only a question of time before you get your first skill which should be used either on pistol or shotgun speciality. This one add another 25% (55%) and you can upgrade it even more with a last but not least 10% (65%).

At 65%, it's more than a hit on two tries. Since a pistol clip is 6 shots @ 5 HP per hit, it can become profitable quite fast.
