I think you have to click at the base of the log, where the swamp ooze landed.
It's is hard to get the exact spot, but keep trying. Last edited by arete; 26-10-2009 at 07:18 AM. Reason: :) |

I'm playing this game on DosBox, and I'm near the end, but every time I show Saladin the note and he takes me in to see the wedding, the game freezes and says "7425.v56 not found." Everything else seems to work fine, including speech. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Maybe a patch or something? Any help would be appreciated.

I have just finished it for God knows how many times and I have a question for all those of you have also faced the same dilemma as I:
When you end the game successfully having solved 100% of the puzzles and get a full score of 231 (0r is it 331?) you get the message and I quote, 'If you want to go "beyond' the ULTIMATE (caps mine) score, we recommend that you try the other "easier" entrance to the castle etc'. blah blah. When you do you end up about 60 short....so did anyone of you ever get BEYOND the ULTIMATE score? :bye: |

Yes I suppose so, games (editors?) often do give imperfect information.
Just wanted to verify whether I was missing something Last edited by arete; 26-10-2009 at 07:17 AM. Reason: :) |

There's quite a few Sierra games in which you can get more than the perfect score, though, so it might still be possible...

Not KQ6 though, 231 points is max score for harder way while max score for easier way was never told properly in the end of the game. Obviously it should be less than 231.

I agree. I used to have this game, as well as KQ5, Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure (all 3 parts) and several others, but my Mom 'lent' them away years ago and they were never returned. Can't even remember to whom she'd lent 'em! Grr, mothers can be so cruel sometimes. She seems to think that after playing a game once there's no point in beating it again.
