I own Labyrinth.
Were you even born when it came out?:P Anyway: wow. [/b][/quote]
No, but my father bought it for my brother, it got lost, I found it, now it's mine.

Well, some books do demand an effort on your part as well; it sort of depends on what sort of books you read...

I like the rush I get when I've solved a difficult puzzle. That combined with the "book feeling" makes adventures my favorite genre.

What is the hype with adventure games? I never could understand how clicking all over a screen to get an item to move to another room and start that all over again was interesting..
Well, if you play them in that way... you'll never find them interesting! :bleh:

I think I vaguely remember having read something about even earlier LucasArts games called Rescue from Fractalus, Koronis Rift and The Eidolon, but they came out about ten years before I got my first computer, so I've never played them, obviously. I'm not even sure whether they could properly be called adventures, really...
Found this:

Rescue on Fractalus, doesn't look like an adventure game
Koronis Rift, made by Activition ? (doesn't look like an adventure game)
The Eidolon, also made by Activition (no adventure game here either).

*edit*
I want to find enhanced CD versions of Monkey 1 & 2, Fate of Atlantis, Zak McKracken, LOOM and Last Crusade. I haven't played any other versions than those I had on my Amiga back in 92.

I have Fate of Atlantis somewhere on my computer, I'm pretty sure it's available from CGA.

Were there enhanced CD versions for all of those? I mean, there's definitely one for Loom and Fate of Atlantis, but I'm not so sure about the others...
