No problem, happy to be of some help.

I have the DOS version here on my computer. I think if I recall well I was supposed to do a review about it, but never manged to do it because of lack of inspiration and time...

I agree but think that Abandonia should have both versions of X-Com and offer the win version first, but for those who can't run it properly there should be an alternative link for DOS-version

Thanks again fellows and sorry if I bothered you
Check the top right corner on the fornt page (Abandonia)

You'll see that this web site is dedicated to old DOS games. LOL

WindowZ is alternative here. LOL LOL

And you have a windows version of X-Com
Then perhaps you should make DOS version the first option and the present an alternative.
I don't know. Guess both of them are useful

What are the differences between the two? (apart from the obvious dos/windows) I thought that the windows has bugs fixed where the dos one still many more?

There is absolutly no difference except that the Windows version is already patched, thus a little less buggy. But there is the very same patch for the DOS version too.

I myself don't play patched because the latest patches for UFO scramble the sounds. I never found those "bugs" annoying enough to get over that.
