Is the file marked read only? thats the first thing that comes to mind.

I generated the characters, and went down to the planet and looked around, but I can't do anything there...what should I do? What buttons are working?

i had the same problem, i think it was just that copywrite protection at the start of the game, but i don't know.

Having the same problem. When I try to run the game it says to install "EMM386.EXE" In the config.sys (EMS Driver).
