I'm on a bit of a hunt for Gabriel Knight 2 (though I haven't bought it yet) and was wondering if anyone here knew what codec (if any) Sierra used for the FMV. I know that Thief used the Indeo codec and for some reason in Thief 2 I get "glitches" during the animation scenes (and I have tried re-installing the codecs.) I have done a quick check on Thief: The Circle and found nothing useful at a quick glance... though that may have been from lack of trying. But the real question for me is if (when) I buy a copy of GK2 will I have similar problems?
(ps: please don't give me links to buy the game, half the fun for me is hunting it up myself at a price I'm willing to pay) |
