Love this game. Been playing it since 10 years old. (Now 19, heh)

I just want to know what I have to do to have the workers using the hand cart. I let it on their way but they never use it.

Forklifts and pushcarts are used by workers who are rated below 83% in their resume.

I think I have a patch for Free Enterprise lying around, I'll see if I can dig it out. Is Abandonware accepting?

Can anyone tell me where to place foreman? They don't want to work in offices so where do I assign them? Just to the control panals of machines?

Hey is there a patch or sumthin cause mine has been bugging out. I got my company up and working fine, makin computers and the stuff i need to make em. Everythings fine until i decide to research multimedia computers. I hire a few researchers, get things going, then suddenly there are like 4 of the same people on my workers list(deb wittington, deb witt..., deb witt...), and they line up to get in the same office, and when i click on the office, the game crashes. I tried ignoring it but when i saved, the game crashed, and it couldn't load the save file either. This has been really bugging me so any help would be appreciated. Also I totally agree with the guy who wants to know how to move to a bigger building. I tried clearing out my building and firing everyone, yet i still couldnt change buildings. This sucks cause i cant build any more offices and i keep needing more purchasers and marketers. Finally to the guy who wanted to know what to assign foremen to, its just the machines. They dont get offices thank god. Or id' really be out of office room.. Anyone have a real FAQ out there or manual for this game? It would be great.

Yeah, foreman are only for machines.

You can't move buildings, IIRC.

That update doesnt work.

I put my foreman in 4 positions, 2 on each machine - Maintenence and ops. Not sure if that is right or 6 positions on 1 machine.

Also, what does the update do supposedly? There doesnt seem to be any info.

Nevermind the update, the version on Abandonia is patched.

Yeah, there are some rather silly bugs in the game - I had two employees forklift jousting for a full day, apparently they didn't feel like picking up or dropping off goods. :blink:

I also had someone push a handcart around aimlessly for a full day, then was blocked in front of the door when the whistle blew, so no one could leave. :blink:

Then there was the purchasing agent that decided he would rather dance a jig in the doorway to the breakroom... every single day until I finally fired him...

It takes all sorts to work in big business, dancing is probably an OK syptom of overwork compared to many others...

LOL I had a complete meltdown on my first company. Stress got to a super high level then every day one employee went postal. Both funny and sick.
