As long as a company gives its permission the ESA won't bother. AFAIK

But who on earth are ESA? And where did they creep in suddenly?

Sierra had been taken over by Avanti but from Quest for Glory V - Dragon Fire onwards!

Similarly MPS and Westwood by Electronic Arts.

You can read this thread for companies & their subsidiaries whose games won't be show up again in Abandonia.

Personally for me it's fun while it lasted and I actually have downloaded all the games I wanted including the Quest series. Thanks Abandonia for ever hosting them in the first place.

Oh bummer.

Well, ditto, I'd already downloaded all the ones I wanted too. I'm really sorry to hear that - it's still an awesome site, but it was the Sierra games I and a lot of people came for.

So anyway..... even though it's no longer on the site, could anyone figure out the problem about saving games with KQ5?

Thaaaank you...

As u can read in previous threads it involves typing ur KQ5 game directory in "change savegame directory" every first time u save/load game.

It's a great pity though, you can't buy them and you can't dowlload them

You can see them at Ebay or Amazon but the costs are exorbitant :eeeeeh:
