The first is called gizmos and gadgets, its by The Learning Company and is a science based game, aimed at the younger kids. You basically pick up various components and have to make a vehicle to race against a mad doctor. You can set if you want to verse believe it or not, mutant space monkeys. EDIT Gizmos & Gadgets is an educational science computer game designed by The Learning Company. It is intended to teach children between the ages of 7 and 12 introductory mechanics, namely simple machines, magnets, basic electronics, and forms of energy. The original game is compatible with IBM and Windows computers running DOS 3.3 or higher although a later CD release added Macintosh compatibility. A popular game through 1997, The Learning Company, then incorporated with Brøderbund, discontinued Gizmos & Gadgets in 1998. The second is an Aarchon style game, you get fantasy style characters on a hex based gameboard, which has obstacles on it. Your warriors all have differing abilities, and can activate them on the hex grid. However when two meet, you go to a top down battle. Its definately not Ultra. |
