Default Gaming according to the Third Convention

Here's a little article on a 13 year old, who in order to be allowed to play as much Call Of Duty as he wanted, he had to play according to the Geneva Conventions.

I think this is a really interesting idea, and would definitely be a great idea as a teaching aid.

What do you think? forward thinking parents or dullest parents ever?

Also, I was wondering of any other games which can still remain fun but can be used to incorporate "real-world" learning that aren't marketed as educational software.

I think more people should play that way. Watching my brother murder npcs was a bit harrowing...

Well, this parent's got a really good idea But CoD doesn't really support that idea of "fair-war" and stopping the game just because your teammates suck is a bad idea.

I mean try to imagine saying this to some pros:"hai guyz, let's play according to the geneva convention! u guyz google that, k? fair play pl0x!"

In Hitman (pick one ) I played by my own rules as well. You had to, to get the Silent Assassin rating but even without that rating, I would have still played that way. Great game!

I always end up transforming Hitman into another GTA-style killing spree.
