Alien Adventure

i played it AGES ago and still tryin' 2 find it..

the plot is like that:

u are on a planet. you see it from 'the sattelite camera" distance and navigate your wandering by clicking the points on the landscape. u can stop anywhere or in special locations shown on the scape.. u can chat and trade with npc, most of 'em are catlike creatures, u can fight with them usin strange, orb-based magic.. and.... u can GROW some useful creatures using 'eggs' and DNA implants which give u a chance 2 grow propper species for digging and bringin u some valuable minerals or something... i cant remember the goal of all this wandering, but wanna find this game VERY MUCH.. please help if u can..

Dude that sounds AWESOME! I admit I dunno what the game is, never heard of it before, but please, someone help this person? I'd really like to check this out if the discription rings true

nope, not albion... that game missed introduction, so i neva found out how and why i got on that planet, or what i was supposed 2 do.. it all was just like one big mystery 2 solve... and i was willin' 2 do that.. havent done it though 'coz my hdd cracked, i lost all in4 and never found that cd i was installin from.... damn! i guess at about 9 or 10 years 've passed and i still cant forget that game!!

i'd like 2 tell ya more about it but i'm not sure i can do it in a propper way 'coz i got very shattered memories about it ... mostly the atmosphere of a game than features... it was lookin very smooth 4 that time (1995or 1997??) very good svga grafix, very interesting magic system and combination of that 'magic-thing' and some hi-tech and stone built abandoned places u visit in that strange world...

the gameplay was :

1. huge landscape view when u wander the planet
2. left-to-right scroll view when u enter location or fight
3. all actions were performed with mouse, as far as i rememba...

could it be quest for glory III? i remember there was a lionpeople, and that you did click on a large map when you traveled around, and when battles started they where shown in sideview.

i doubt it' quest 4 glory, as it was released in 2001... or is it another one??? could u gimme a link 2 the game u mean?

and the Quest for Glory i think of was not released 2001, rather 1992-95'ish

QFG III in 1992, QFG IV in 1993, and it shows, seriously. :bye:
(the games are still great though ,too bad we cant host them :D )

about the QFG theory, there were no magic crystals involved, and definetly no hi-tec stuff.
