I'm trying to find a game I played a long time ago. I don't remember the title so hopefully someone recognizes it from the parts I can remember. In the game you basicly run a crime organizaton. Its a top down game. You can buy buildings in a city, warehouses, casinos, stuff like that. Launder money, plan bank robberies, trade in guns, hire goons (I think) and other stuff.

Anyone knows the title?

Please move the thread, couldnt really decide on a section the thread would fit into.

Sounds like "Gangsters: Organised Crime (http://www.mobygames.com/game/gangsters-organized-crime)".

May be it's sequel, the imaginatively titled "Gangsters 2 (http://www.mobygames.com/game/gangsters-2)".

If it's more modern, "Mafia" might be the one you're looking for.

Any clue of the year it was released, or the graphical style? Any extra details will help.

Nope it more looks like the predecessor of Gangsters. I tried searching for terms like gangsters, organized crime and so on but couldnt find anything.

More details, please. Crime organization management games can take place, say, in the future, like here:

No definately not in the future. Maybe present to not so far into the past. Wish I could remember more. Like I said it seems like a predecessor of Gangsters. But I think you cant move gangsters yourself. Only hiring and giving them jobs to do. Trade in guns, buying buildings to do stuff with. I just hope it wasnt a german only game cause there is absolutely nothing to find out there. But I dont even remember in what language I played it.

If it looks like "a predecessor of Gangsters", it should be older, right?

Nope none of those. Definately PC Game. More a planning kinda game and not where you control a group or some guy. I wish I knew more. Its weird that even with the internet around its so hard to find it.

Sounds a lot like "Legal Crime (http://www.strategy-gaming.com/reviews/legal_crime/index.shtml)" - which is most definitely (http://members.chello.at/theodor.lauppert/games/lc.htm) abandonware these days.
