Hey all
Looking for an adventure game, could you help me?
1. It was DOS/those kind of graphics
2. The main guy was blond
3. I think it was fairly long
4. It had gore that you could turn on and off
Thanks:)

That's kind of little to go by with. Any details?

Are we to assume 2D graphics?
Was it side-scrolling, top-down, isometric viewpoint (or other?)
Sierra style, Lucasarts style?
Setting - War, peace, future, past, present, jungle, desert etc.?
Just a few more details may be all it takes.

Ok well..
2D graphics
It was side view like a platformer but the game itself wasn't
Setting - I actually think it was suburbia/town/city. So present.
When you're controlling the guy he was about 1/3 of the screen high
Thanks again

A third of the screen sounds kind of early Lucas Arts, maybe. Does this ring any bells?

Or it could be Broken Sword Sleeping Dragon (http://www.igniq.com/images/broken_sword_170805.jpg)...
I would have suggested Space Quest because Roger is blonde, but the character animation is too small for what you remember.
Do you remember anything else about the story?

Sounds a little like Gabriel Knight (http://www.mobygames.com/game/gabriel-knight-sins-of-the-fathers/screenshots).

I think in the story there was people getting murdered with knives and guns etc. and maybe you had to trace down the murderers or something like that?
