Hello,
Some years back when I was at school in about 1992-1993, we played this Gold Mining game that I would really like to find again. Just the name of it would be extremely helpful.
It was probably for the PC... as we used to play crystal caves on the same pc... and it was in colour.
Here are some of the concepts of the game.
* You started off with a small amount of money.
* You could buy things from a shop... I remember being able to buy a gun and a gold pan (horse?).
* You could fossick (which didn't yield much gold), mine and possibly pan for gold.
* For the mining option you got good amounts of gold, but there was three things you had to do while mining... I think you had to lay rails in your mine, put in pipes to stop it from flooding and beams to stop it from collapsing. (costing money)
* While mining in the gold mine on occasion you would discover a gold nugget that may have been called the "Golden Hand."
* The gold you had was measured and found in ounces.
* Using the joystick you could move to other maps, and it was a race against time to move between the maps so you didn't die.
* I remember you often died due to "flooding" of either your mine, or possibly when trying to get to another map.
Just the name of this game if anyone knows it, would be extremely helpful.
Thanks in advance.
