Here comes the sequel to the enormously popular UFO - Enemy Unknown, or X-Com 1, which has been at the top of our most popular game list since the day it was made available on the site. Terror from the Deep has earned most of its popularity thanks to its older brother. However, although it is a very good game, I feel that the producers should have done more for the sequel. First of all, in my opinion, the graphics and atmosphere were better in the first issue. Second, the gameplay and all other aspects of the game have basically remained the same – except that this time your battles take place underwater. There are also some terror missions that take place in cities, but these are scarce. Sure, they added new ships, new weapons, new aliens and new research items, but that's all. It looks more like a remake than like a sequel -- I expected better graphics and some new gameplay features. Honestly, I completed UFO many times, but I'm not sure whether I completed TftD even once. Still, this shouldn't discourage you from trying it out. If I put this lack of new features aside, it's actually a great game, as is UFO.
The Game can be played in English, French, Spanish or German.
