Download Sensible Soccer - European Champions 92-93 Edition

If you have come here looking for a realistic football sim, you might as well turn back :) Sensible Soccer is simplistic, but still manages to provide a lot of fun. Personally, I was never a hardcore fan of this game, but I had many friends that played it constantly! They even dared calling it the best football game ever!

This game gained quite a bit of popularity, I must admit. It is pretty much structured as any football game is. It offers different play modes, ranging from friendly to tournament to world championships. There are numerous teams to play with (you can probably read the names from the screenshot). The game itself is viewed from bird perspective.

The one thing I absolutely hated about it was the player control. It was nearly impossible to go in more than 2 directions without loosing the ball. This basically means that once you get in posession of the ball, you can go straight, then for example left, and if you try going straight again, the ball will probably just wonder off. Yeah, I know, it's stupid, but with a lot of effort, you will probably master this technique as my friends did :)

Gameplay is very fast paced and, trust me, you will need quick reflexes to play it successfully. Graphics are pretty funny, and the sound is standard. Nothing spectacular from this game, so it deserves a mark of 3 for being fun, but with many features lacking. However, it can get quite addictive so be careful :)

Run Install.exe to configure your controls (don't try to install your game, because you can't), and the run Sensible.exe to start the game.
