Football Limited, made by Software 2000, is one of the rarest football games ever made. Software 2000 was also involved in the making of "The Manager" aka "Bundesliga Manager Professional" that is featured here on Abandonia. It's an intriguing game that came out back in 1995 when football manager genre was still somewhat of a novelty. It will certainly bring back memories of countless hours spent in perfecting your team.
An important thing to note is that Footbal Limited carries the true feel and essence of a soccer management game, something that can rarely be found in today's games. It has also been thought out carefully and as a result the gameplay integrity is exceptionally high, encouraging you to keep on playing for hours.
If you want to do a good job with managing your team, you will have to keep track of a whole lot of statistics. Scheduling training sessions is also an integral part, as well as managing your real estate, investing in shares and taking care of youth development. Match presentation is very nice (reminds me a bit of "The Manager") and the game runs fast and smooth. Considering that it's a good old DOS game, it makes a remarkably good use of the mouse. Football Limited is for those of you that feel Championship Manager takes everything to a level that's just too serious. So, if you got a PC you're about to put in the trash can, install Football Limited on it instead, and have some good old fashioned fun!
