Prince Alexander is still haunted by memories of the lovely Princess of the Green Isles (see KQ5), and when the magic mirror shows him her whereabouts, he sets out to find her at once, with only the stars for navigation. Time passes, and eventually he and his crew have sailed far beyond any known lands and are in uncharted waters, but Alexander refuses to give up hope. Looking at the stars, he knows he is nearing his destination, and soon land is spotted on the horizon. Filled with hope, he commands the ship into the bay, not knowing how treacherous these waters are. The ship is stranded on the cliffs, and Alexander is washed up on a nearby beach. His poor crew is nowhere to be seen. He is now trapped alone in a foreign land, fighting impossible odds to find the love he has sought for such a long time.
This game introduces yet another feature in the series: 3D video animation. And once again Sierra has succeeded in making King's Quest 6 the most beautiful of all the KQ games. The game just begs any gamer to play it over and over again! I even find myself committing suicide just to see the animation in hell, or to see how Alexander dies. It is the ultimate Adventure game!
