You know how there's The ISO Cellar
I was wonder if there is ever gonna be a similar area for disk images of Floppy disk games (Floppy Disk image rips in IMG format)

Good idea, but those can be provided as extras on the game page. The only reason why CD images have to be hosted externally is because they're too big to host them ourselves.
If you have any floppy images you can create a thread on the Offers board :-)

Actually, there is one site, dedicated to gathering of floppy images. It's Good Old Days. It similar to Abandonia in some aspects, even if have somewhat restricting download rules, but nothing too big, if you are actively participating.
