[kryt3n] Rescue in the Outback
In elementary school I remember playing a game on the Apple II that was something akin to Oregon Trail. I believe that it was called Adventure in the Outback, and made by MECC, but I've searched for games called that and games by MECC and haven't been able to find it.
Basically, you would wander around on some landmass. You could hunt, prospect for gold, and the like. The goal was to rescue someone, possibly named Livingstone. |

Could be either "Rescue in the Outback" or Dr. Livingstone, I Presume?
Here's an Apple II MECC Catalog in PDF format that describes both games along with a bunch of others. They seem like rare titles. Here's a photo of the Livingstone game running on an Apple II. |
