Default Need Help Creating CD-ROM Rip

I'm not sure this is the right place to post this, but here goes...

I need to create a rip for one of the games in my collection, namely The Lost Mind of Dr. Brain. I have two problems related to this: first, I don't know how to create a rip in the first place; secondly, The Lost Mind of Dr. Brain runs almost exclusively on the CD-ROM, and only uses a hard-drive-based directory to store save games. If someone could please assist me, I'd really appreciate it!

D-Tools lite (free). Rightlick the icon in the systray, choose "disc imaging" and create a compressed *.mdx image.
Then you can load the file on your harddisc as CD. Has never failed me so far!

Second that. There's hardly a better program for creating CD ISOs, though for mounting them Daemon Tools Lite is better to use.
Also if a CD is made up of data + music tracks, be sure to create a .BIN / .CUE image format and not .ISO, since the latter doesn't support mixed-mode CDs and the music tracks will be lost.

Funnily enough, I use MagicISO Virtual CD/DVD Manager in regards to mounting the ISOs which I use. I know I should use Daemon Tools, yet I find that MagicISO does the job well enough for me.

to create a Rip and thus making suitable for AB, you need to check if Movies and Music can be removed from the Game-Folder.

they don't have to be (and actually it's even better if they are not!) if the game fits into the uploads file size limit. how much is it now? 120 MB? 160 MB? i forgot. why would you tell him such silly things as that we upload only rips

Paco is assuming the packed game is larger. As you said, that is not always the case.

coz i knew the Size from his Offer-Thread? its about 600 MB big, which is clear over the 150 MB-Limit. Thus he need to make it smaller (hence a Rip) to put it on AB.

i am not assuming. i know it for certain, since this Thread is linked with his Offer-Thread. see above.
