I can't find Airstrike USA in the list...
I think it'd be abandonware, but I'm usually wrong when I try and guess. Just cos i'm finding it boring to play through enough to review as I'd rather be playing Global-Thermo-Nuclear War. It's similar but better, IMO. (I think that was the reason I stopped playing airstrike in the first place.) I know that one's not considered abandonware, even though I got it for free. |

btw - all the TADS engines i've used and found don't run under dos.
Maybe I'm not looking hard enough. I can resize the screenshot, if you'd like. |

Okay Paco - I was trying to be neat. I forgot that it needs to be a new post to be easy to find... my perception fails with my memory. I forget that I haven't checked to see if I've overlooked something.
Which game's screen shots and review is missing? I can put them back up from my Mac. |

I don't udnerstand this. Why do we need these TADS engines again? You could run Deep Space Drifter with DOSBox, take 2-3 screens (this is enough for interactive fiction) and we're done.

It works in DosBox? I couldn't get it to work in Boxer, which is why I got Splatterlight for Mac. The files I had were just a .gam and no .bat .com or .exe or anything... Will give it a try on PC DosBox, but I think the reason why I used Mac was because I couldn't get it to run. I'll do it later on Friday morning after I get some rest. |

No, I had to find it myself...
For all the IF and Text games, I've uploaded the game files that I've managed to get with the reviews and screenshots. I thought they weren't on the FTP server... I wasn't given any of the archives for those games. I just went looking for them. One reason why I've kinda stalled in finishing off the list of reviews. If there are archives for them, it'd be good to have them so I can get through them and get onto some other games for a change! |
