Is the original DOS version for sale somewhere (as new)? If I remember correctly, there have been other games accepted on the basis that the sold versions were for a newer operating system. |

but do you see Elvira on AB? no? then we have to wait until the Game is not more protected and then we can put it with Review, Screenshots and your Scans of course on site.
Until then your Scans will have to wait on FTP until that Time comes.

No, I don't see Elvira here, but I see many protected games which have reviews and boxshots; they have a "no go!" tag.
I didn't get an answer to my question: Are all versions of Elvira protected or just that Horror Pack where the game is (apparently) modified to work in Windows? |

Most of these games have been on site before the ESA stepped in (2nd half of 2005 IIRC) and we had to remove the download links. At that time it was deceided to leave the reviews, extras, etc. on site, as the reviewers had put lots of work into them.

The box shown at the Adventure Soft Store contains the Windows and the DOS versions (it's written bottom right on the front). But the description on the site states that the games only work under Windows 95 or 98. So I can't definitively say if the DOS versions are sold, but the Windows versions are the same gamewise, aren't they? That would be a "no".

All [APPROVED]! That's a nice collection; I'm even thinking about if I myself should review Manhattan Dealers aka Operation Cleanstreets and Cosmic Sheriff.

We have B.A.T. and Cadaver on site already, but I will add the disk images as extras (for the "new" games as well when they go on main site).
