been busy doing a touch of scripts and room descriptions. Its being scripted using a ROM and TinyMUD modified codebase. If you have any experience with mud building then you will be of great help.

Ill be posting more tonight, gotta jet for now.... late for work... again

Ok, since some people are interested........

This game will be called Republique, because we are all building it together. Even if you can't code you can assist in some fashion. We will need the following;

3)Area Builders
2)Creative Writers
1)People who love roleplaying (i.e. people with oversized imaginations like mine)


I propose that this game be by invite only, this keeps a more serious players base. If your invited to play, its for a reason. I've designed an invite system that ill be mailing each interested RPG'er a link for. You will be entitled to extend your own invitations, via email, to those you might know interested in joining this RPG community. Does this sound like a fair system for recruiting players?

As for credit on helping with the game, that shouldn't be a problem. If you help, you deserve it, and will receive it.

Any comments or questions?

The most recent creative writing piece I completed was a bit of coursework which I recieved an A for

@Magic
A fellow craftsman of the quill, id love a sample piece. What we would need are descriptions for locations within the game. For example, describe the inside of an old theater POV from theater seating. If we want the theater to have a balcony, write a piece representing the view from the loft.

I will have the builder engine up and running soon(within a few days), I just need to map port access. We will construct a special forum for all builders to share ideas for area/game development and ideas on game demographics......

screenies of mud server dev-engine. I believe its scripted in java so it makes it exec on any system porting SUN java.

...hmmm is this the same game that you were showing before?

This might have to be moved to the Programing section now that we're starting to make it.
