In Dutch we got a nice sentense for that: But let's try it in english...
Those who won't missed us will never be with us...

Like Iron Scarecrow, I'm disappointed to see you go. You added a lot of flavour to the forums. Sure, you were contraversial and had strong opinions, but there was something about you I liked, especially when you opened up and revealed your past. That's never easy to do with people you don't know. It takes trust and a desire to want to be understood. It helped me understand more. I knew then your past had been hard and you probably had to mix with a very tough lot.
I hope you'll come back and visit. :bye: |

Maybe we should track him down, and force him to come back.

I must say a few things about this as well.
In every civilized society people tend not to hurt others (if htey're not actually trying to be nice to the people). But that goes to presume that there are no problems. If there's something that does need a sharp reply - you must say it! So just being nice all the time could make you into a punchung bag. I alto think Maerlyn added something good to Abandonia - an extra edge. He was maybe too harsh from time to time, but once I read more of his posts it became obvious he's not trying to hurt people with that, There's a big difference if you're saying something with the intent to hurt, or just saying that and presuming people will not jump to conclusions. Being hurt by a remark is sometimes our own lack of trust! If you trust somebody that he/she is not out to hurt you you would look for the true meaning of a message, not simply see the words you don't like! Anyway, I hope Maerlyn will come back (even if I don't always agree with him). He did leave his mark on the forum and he does have somewhat different opinions then most others so we could benefit from his different (down to harsh reality) point of view. But just in case you won't return (hope you will): Whatever you decide to do - I wish you succeed (not just concerning forums - those are usually far away from the real life). Best of luck to you! |

He is not going anywhere, is he?
Where else he can say that kids should be punished for being sick?! LOL Hey, M, I don't give a <bad word> if you leaving or staying. I know you'll read this, so I just like to tell you that is O.K. to be scared, I liked to read stuff from your point of view. It would be boring place here (earth) if all of us think the same way. Also it's kind of strange how honest you can be. k: So rethink, what are ya gonna do! (when they come for you, bad boys, bad boys...  ) |

I didn't see her now for some time... Well, people, it seems he's gone. So no point for more comments. I'll lock this thread now therefore.
