I found my CD for this game yesterday, was smiling as i installed it... ran the exe file.... band. nothing happens. try in compatibiltity for windows 95....bang nothing.
anyone know how to run this game in XP? ive emailed infogrames (now atari) and they send the most usless reply EVER: I sent this to them: Dear sir or madam. i recently found my copy of Infogrames game Silver. I have installed it. Tried running it on windows XP, it crashes to desktop. I have tried using compatability settings for windws 95..same affect. Is there any way to get this game to work in windows XP? also as there is NO sign of this game on your website (www.infogrames.com - directed to atari.com) is the game to be considered abandoned by our company? Yours sincerly Daniel Paul They replied Hi, Have you tried the WinXP compatibility mode? To run the program in Compatibility Mode: * Right-click the icon for the program you wish to run * Click Properties * Click the Compatibility tab * Check the box next to Run this program in compatibility mode for: * Select a version of Windows * Click OK Now try the program again. If you still have difficulties, try the above steps, but select a different version of Windows to test with. If you'd like to learn more information about compatibility mode, you can click the link in the Compatibility tab that says Learn more about program compatibility. Regards Erik Young ................................... dear god. any ideas anyone? (and i believe the game is abandonware if people want it on the site?) p.s. Erik Young.... wish it was the same Erik young that did all the clsoe combat games *sighs* |

I don't think it's abw. Although I like that game a lot!
Try running it using dosbox, or simply install win98 :bleh: |

Their reply would have just been the same thing they send to everyone that sends them emails about not being able to run a game. It's like they see that you have a problem they pull out this template email and send it back. They probably get thousands of these a day, they dont want to sit there solving every single one.

This game isn't abw. It similar to crusaders of M&M. I remember that someone asked me to find the game but it wasn't abw. It will be good idea to make it :bye:

It does look fun. It looks similar to Grnadia 2. k:
Talon do you know of Grandia 2? And if you do, is it anything like this, such as gameplay? |

Digging up old threads here, but does anyone else own this game and know what to do against the "sound stuttering" problem? Game runs fine except the sound, it's pretty annoying :/
