The problem is - as always - in that a few people are expected to handle a workload that would normally be divided between two or three times that many.
Remember 2008/9? That was two techs and an intern. Now there's a single tech who has been dropped into this without as much as a proper briefing. |

Now it looks the same in IE as in Opera, which is good for IE, but it's still bad: see attachment. EDIT: refreshing made the duplicate logo go away in both browsers.
I think the "upgraded" website was quite poorly made and held together with duct tape. And now that the owner wanted something as simple (albeit evil) as inserting yet another huge banner at the top, all the layout botches and patches fell apart; and they're trying to fix it with more duct tape. I don't know the second thing about web programming and I haven't even taken a serious look, but still that's the impression I get. And I know it's not a positive comment.

Although, if the owner (albeit evil) chooses to pay no heed and reverence whatsoever to the upsurge from the pitch-fork wielding, mouth frothing, angry, screaming, torch bearing members of the small parcel of land known as Abandonia in the vast world of Internetia (has no one made the inertia - internet word correlation before?) then SO BE IT!! me All that aside, I have adjusted my settings for this site only and now only wish the Abandonia graphic returned me to the Home page via a link. I think the page authoring error may be due to something relating to vertical and horizontal automatic adjustment based on screen height and width with some kind of HTML tag... not sure of myself though, as always though. That's why they prescribe medications, I suppose. This site does have validity, credibility, humility, profundity, accused piracy, definitly some lunacy and most foremost (which means it is not the least, even though it is at the end of the list) supercalifragilisticexpialidocious-ity. So there! Into the breach, I say! Damn the torpedoes, FULL SPEED AHEAD!! EDIT: and I still wish I didn't have to re-enter my location every time I login Last edited by Ohne Mitleid; 21-03-2011 at 11:23 PM. Reason: Oh yeah... |

Right click anywhere on page that isn't a link. FRAME > Open... Breaking the forums out of the stupid malfing iframe nonsense. End of problem. |
