Some greek philosopher said, that out every community 1% is a total idiot. Blood-Piggy is probably in that minority ^^

So you're saying that over 65 million people are completely and utterly stupid?

You are right.

The area these people work in is called politics.

Stop whining about our lovely Blood Pigggy and post some quotes.

“You ever noticed how people who believe in Creationism look really unevolved? You ever noticed that? Eyes real close together, eyebrow ridges, big furry hands and feet. "I believe God created me in one day" Yeah, looks like He rushed it.”

"My belt holds up my pants and my pants have belt loops that hold up the belt. What the f*ck’s really goin' on down there? Who is the real hero?"

“I think the big mistake in schools is trying to teach children anything, and by using fear as the basic motivation. Fear of getting failing grades, fear of not staying with your class, etc. Interest can produce learning on a scale compared to fear as a nuclear explosion to a firecracker.”

“I never learned anything at all in school and didn't read a book for pleasure until I was 19 years old.”

Zafo, I agree completely. That first quote sounds a lot like Monty Roberts ... My latest favourite: "Of all the things I've lost, it's my mind I miss the most." -- Ozzy Ozbourne

An that is one of the main reasons why learning processes often didn't quite work out as I planned. No stimulation, only grading and competition, of which I both just didn't see the point.

And to stay on-topic and elaborate on the subject of fear:

"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain."

Bene Gesserit Litany Against Fear.

One of my senior professors said this on Corporate Economics class: "This morning, an ugly old man came up to me on the street, and he explicitly wanted to tell me what he thinks about the nations's economic problems...that's when I started to feel sorry for you guys..."
