Okay anyone who's heard of Wierd Al Yonkovich will know what I'm on about here.

Wierd Al is famous for changing lyrics to popular songs so they are silly and funny. He's made songs such as:

Michael Jackson - Beat it - Eat it
Michael Jackson - I'm Bad - I'm Fat (which was played in the background of the simpsons in one episode.)

Anyway, my point of making this post is that When i got bored or intoxicated i often make these kinds of songy myself, I've got a few but I'll post only one for now:

Enjoy!

Stone Sour - Bother - Bothered

Wish i had, some cheddar cheese,
to put inside this bread
got some butter and some lettuce
tomattoes, and lots of bacon!

but I have no cheeses!
and no Dairylea!
I can't make a sandwhich!
Without cheddar, cammon or farmhouse things.

Wish i was, a farmer now.
so i could milk a cow.
got some milk and lots of butter
tins of beans and fresh new white bread!

I know there is no reason,
to add spices and seasons.
For taste i keep changing,
eat this bread because its ageing

I can't have a sandwhich!
because there's no cheese!
Theres chicken and theres pork ribs.
meat ruins bread.
or the bread ruins the meat....

(instrumental.)

Let me die, I cannot live
a meal without cheese!
scraping pizzas for their gratings.
Frozen so, i'll sit here waiting!

I can't make a sandwhich!
If there is no cheese!
I'll keep ranting until,
you learn this then,
we never run out like today!

I'm defrosting pizza!
so i can defrost cheese!
I'm so *dirty word* desperate!
i'll eat some 10 week old cream....

My personal favorite is "It's all about Pentiums" k:

Your lyrics are great, if only I knew the song :P

Could you post at least a .MID var of that song? I'm really interested k:

Eric the Cleric, that was a very funny version of that song!!! k: Make some more!!!

And Weird Al is has soooooooo many funny songs!! I wouldn't know which one to pick as a favourite! He even had the nerve to make a disco version out of Qeens' Bohemian Rhapsody, and it sounded pretty good! hahaha :bleh:

Hey Sebbe, you found me!! :bye:

It was Polka, not Disco...

And personally I think that he has his best moments not just doing parodies of certain songs, but when he writes songs that sound like they COULD be from a certain band, but are indeed his own (like "Dare to be stupid", for example)... Okay, certain songs like "Amish Paradise" or "Pretty fly for a Rabbi" are obvious exceptions...

Okay, I'll bite.

Bee Gees - Tragedy

Here I lie
In a lost and lonely part of town
Got no time
In requests from peers I slowly drown
no one home
I like to download all alone
I really must share files with you
files with you
seeding you, seeding you

Tragedy
When the cable’s gone and you can’t go on
It’s tragedy
When the well's gone dry and you don't know why
It’s hard to bear
With nothing to download you’re
Goin’ nowhere

Tragedy
When you lose control and the file aint whole
It’s tragedy
When the line says "bye" and you don't know why
It’s hard to bear
With nothing to upload you’re
Goin’ nowhere

Night and day
There’s a burner lying next to me
Burning roms
With a yearning that won’t let me be
Down-I-load
But I just can’t keep it to myself
I really should share files with you
files with you
seeding you, seeding you

Tragedy
When the cable’s gone and you can’t go on
It’s tragedy
When the well's gone dry and you don't know why
It’s hard to bear
With nothing to download you’re
Goin’ nowhere

Tragedy
When you lose control and the file aint whole
It’s tragedy
When the line says "bye" and you don't know why
It’s hard to bear
With nothing to upload you’re
Goin’ nowhere

Umm... Yeah. The Jerry Springer one. The edited version of that BareNakedLadies's band song. Ya know. The orginal lyrics are like. "It's been one week since you blah blah blahed...."

I did the same a few times, altough not for parody reasons - Hammerfall's "Hero's Return" seemed oddly appropriate for Dark Angels army in Warhammer 40k - re-named "Lion's Return" and a bit adjusted...

In a time of fear and confusion,
silence charging the air
The sunlight is gone, Chaos lives on
in the heart of traitor’s lair

Lost in a world of illusions
No trace of the missing sword
Steeling our souls back in control,
knocking at death’s door

All our beliefs fading into ashes
Heed the words that we pray

For the Lion’s Return our hearts still yearn
Rise and conquer, let the betrayers burn

Now we charge, the battle is raging,
blood runs everywhere
Our anger is fierce, avenging the years
No time for a final prayer

Behold, the might of the Angel,
Heavenly bringer of death
There’s nowhere to run, nowhere to hide
You won't escape his wrath

Somewhere out there lies a new tomorrow
for me and those who believe

For the Lion’s Return our hearts still yearn
Rise and conquer, let the betrayers burn
For the Lion’s Return our hearts still yearn
Rise and conquer, let the betrayers burn

Ooooh… Ooooh…
Ooooh… Ooooh…

Now I return from a place far beyond
My mission I set, let it be done

We still belive in a brighter future
The dreams are ours to fulfil

For the Lion’s Return our hearts still yearn
Rise and conquer, let the betrayers burn
For the Lion’s Return our hearts still yearn
Rise and conquer, let the betrayers burn
