Don't upload screenshots in JPG - PNG only, please, or if you really can't take them in that format use BMP.
JPG is lossy and distorts the source image. We have a ton of old games with JPG screenshots and it's hell to get them all replaced. |

if you have to use jpeg, use at least 90-95% image quality, then it looks good... definitely not the mspaint pile of crap which saves it at about 70%

Everyone mellow out a bit, I rarely, if ever, use MSPaint.
I'll just use DosBox's png screen capture from now on. Last edited by Eleima512; 19-09-2009 at 09:25 PM. |

Moving often entails digging up in places you hadn't looked into for years, and in doing so, I've dredged up the original manuals for King's Quest 4 and King's Quest 6 (I saw you already had the one for King's Quest 5, but the one for KQ4 seems to be a lone Word document). I'm currently scanning them and putting them in pdf format, so if you want them for the site, just send me a PM. (or tell me here that's it's approved, and I'll upload it to the FTP)
Oh, and incidentally, not that it realy matters, but next time you mention me in an update, please use the correct gender! Last edited by Eleima512; 14-10-2010 at 10:19 AM. |

Please scan the KQ5 manual too, since unfortunately, the current one was taken from ReplacementDocs.com, which isn't allowed. :\

Okay, first off, what's "sabber"?
Second, I'll try and find the KQ5 manual again, but I think I might've already taped up the box it's in, so no promises. (If that's the case, I'll try and get around to it after the move) Third, KQ4 & KQ6 manuals have been scanned, pdf'ed, rar'ed and uploaded in their respective folders (well, KQ4 just finished, but technically, KQ6 is still going through the pipes). And Bobson, no worries, no hard feelings! |

Move is completed, and I finally got internet, and the opportunity to scan and compile the KQ5 manual. It's actually being uploaded as I type, oh, wait!! Nevermind, it's done!!
There ya go! |
