Hey if you are finding the Dosbox interface to be annoying, try out the D-fend frontend program for it. with this program you can set up your games to run with dosbox with the click of a mouse button. you can set up profiles for individual games, as well as make templates for games that are similar. very cool.

I agree. I installed D-Fend for my nephews, so I had some opportunity to play around with it and I must say it's probably the best dosbox frontend available. I just wish it was also available for Linux (as I have no win), so far we only have dosboxfe, which is totally unusable, not to mention useless.

under utilities on abandonia main, go to programs, then to Dosbox link. Scroll down to the tools section, d-fend is first link.

Just for the record. D-Fend IS easy to use, but it makes DosBox unstable. Some games gets #¤&%ed up, others won't play at all, and sometimes strange things happen... Like Dreadlord loosing her savegames.
Personally, I use the commands in DosBox. They aren't that hard to learn as Puffin's 9 year old sister can tell you. k:

I pretty much prefer DOSBox as is. No need for silly front end interfaces when it works so well.
Though, I suppose some people have their uses for it. |

I've switched back to DosBox, after it permanently corrupted my game of Dungeon Master 2 (wherein I was right at the end :ranting: ).
