Or shadow of destiny in some versions... I came by it by coincidence a few years ago and bought it because it was the only adventure game in the store.
I'd kindda forgotten it, but then remembered it when I watched "The Butterfly Effect", cause they have some similarities. I actually thinks it's a really good game, I like that multiple ending stuff, a shame that it's so short though. Anyone else played it? I haven't actually met anyone yet who have, but I figured this place would be a good bet... |

Yeah. I liked that game as well. It was like a lighter "Shenmue" adventure game in that you could travel around a 3D world, but with a time travel plot. I wished there was a sequel.

Yeah, I have it on PS2. I guess it'd be too big for Abandonia though- the graphics were gorgeous.
I think there was talk of a sequel at one point, but I doubt anything came of it. Oh, and Shenmue (and its sequel) are two games for Dreamcast that involve a guy named Ryo Hazuki trying to track down his father's killer. It's kinda hard to explain as it's a rather unique game. |

Shenmue II wasn't released in the US, but it was ported to Xbox and that version did get a US release. The Xbox Shenmue II also comes with a DVD movie of the first game so you can catch up on the plot.
I strongly recommend getting a DC, but if you can't and you have an Xbox then that's an option you should consider. |
