A guide is available? :blink: Where? A guide walktrough(spoiler) or something like a manual? If its spoiler i dont want it.

Did anyone else have issues trying to get the sound to work for this game? I've tried both DOSbox and the cmd prompt, but with no luck.

I'm running a Soundblaster Pro and an Win XP OS. I've heard other people complain of this, but no solutions.

This was my favorite game as a kid, I'll kill to get it workin.

Did you configure the game's internal setup properly to match the sound emulation settings you've got in DosBox?

I need help fighting Melissa. D:

I can't hit her with stakes, or soul blades as her agility is too high.

So I tried using the flame thrower, and it seems to work, except it looks as if she heals or something?

And is the force field the correct armour to use? It still gives me a load of damage and I end up dying. DDx I dun wanna replay the whole game just to boost my fighting stats. ]:

Would have to agree, this version was amazing for it's time though...

Except that the Amiga AGA version was on 12 disks with persistant swapping so I had to buy an HD

I loved quests. But about eight years ago I found this game - and it killed my love. It's a great, a real quest - so others are dull, dim & unnatural after this.

Has anybody got a manual? Unable to find it yet, but i think it's necessary to getting know the gameplay and understand the world, skills etc. if anybody has it, please make it accessible it somehow (i.e: on a homepage, here at abandonia, etc.) or send me (ds024775r7 as username at gmail.com service).[hope i dont hurt the forum rules by this post]


Generally game is great, however sometimes the controls, idiot net graphics and bad fight system kills it.

Banjo just PM-ed me for the manual.
I've tried a couple of times to email it (or an url where i put it temporarily becaus i was getting mailbox limit replies) to abandonia, but no replies so far.

For those who want the manual right away:
For the time being it (zipped PDF file) is still available at:

If an Abandonia admin reads this: i gues you're pretty busy with the new website, but could you tell me how to get the Bloodnet manual to you? (ftp adres & login or something?)
That way people can download the manual from Abandonia (seems the perfect place for it ), and don;t have to contact me directly.

If you want, I can uploads it. Like you said the Admins are busy with the new Site so they have no time to deal with it. Ask a Updater (Romano, Sebatianos, Tulac, etc) next time per PM (after this per Email if necessary) if you want to provide anything.
