Hi all,
well...oldies but goldies? Where have those good old jump & runs like Pitfall, Jill of the Jungle, Duke Nukem etc. vanished I spent many nights and even whole weekends playing? Were they...humm...somehow... abandoned?   And is there any chance to run them with Win XP - assumed I can find them somewhere? |

Perhaps they will, but only some of them if any at all. They will run without problems in DosBox, though.

Yeah, the ones you mentioned there are sold by 3d realms. You can find it in their store, believe it or not, for 10 bucks a floppy I think :blink:

I used to love those games, especially the Commander Keen series. I checked and id Software is still selling the entire series along with all of their other classic games.

I got Pitfall The Mayan adventure. Came with My IBM Aptiva (I hated that pc. It was a 386 and it ran slower then my older pc.)

Wow, they're still sold? Nearly unbelievable! It seems to be centuries ago, since I last played old Duke Nukem on my old 386...

The fact that they still sell these games is great but for ten bucks a game that is just a rip-off.
