My soundcard drivers take too much space. Before driverload: 590 kB, after driverload: 510 kB...

Dual Boot with Dos being the second system.
Autoexec with only soundcard drivers loaded.
No mouse driver/ Norton Commander loaded.
This made about 620-630 K for me way back when I still had my old PC and had trouble running Flashback.

You can create menu system where you create different configurations and different driver sets. This way you can for example disable CD (if not needed) to save couple more kb....

This is what I use to do.

If you're looking for a prog to do it for you, I used to use MaxMem by AnalogX. It's pretty good.
