I just got someone joining my rather dead forums for my site, asking about how to download things from this site... it's quite strange. Especially since they would have probably got my site address from here to even go to my site to join the forums, so it begs the question, why didn't they just ask here instead of a forum which is rather dead and mostly inactive?

I don't think so. It was probably a game that was once for download, but has been removed.

There are a lot of people out there, who will go to the extreme in order to get their hands on illegal games.

I have gone through the list of games on AbandonWare.* There are many games I want to play and/or download.* Many of them have an ESA label with them.* How do I access these games?* Do I call the companies and ask to download them?* Also, for the downloads of games like Maniac Mansion, I download the MM13.exe files about 6.3 MB.* Is this only the EXE file? Can I use this to play the game and do I need to downoad all the thumb downloads.* They all seem to be the same file.* The games I am talking about are from abandonware.dos, for example (Burea 13) :

Heh, that'd be it. I just happen to have a large collection of ESA protected games that you can't download off of the internet, or even buy in my area. :P

Though, he is after Maniac Mansion and trying to get it to work. Why wouldn't he just get the freeware remake, I don't know.
