![]() Nope. I only play occasionally with friends, so I don't know that much about it.
But once we're at new weapons, a friend of mine just got an M6 for sniping. We use it in a little game we invented, called "Shotgun". It's a bit like CTF, but I'll explain later on. It's been influenced quite a bit by ego-shooters like CoD and Halo - we even have a certain "respawn" rule. How many magazine bags do you have on that vest? And were you thinking of a thigh holster for the MP7? |

And yes, i'm going to get a holster for the MP7 as soon as i find a decent one. Or atleast a chest-sling.

![]() I don't know...MP7 in a chest sling? Naaaah...and plus, you're probably pretty loaded up with
6 AUG magazines on your vest...I'd get a thigh holster. I use a magazine belt for skirmishes, and I'm just making a bandolier with a friend of mine. It's very handy, and has room for 8 M4-Magazines. Hopefully, once that thing's done, I won't need that belt any more. I'm also planning on getting a small AEG handgun. Just for backup. I suppose you use the MP7 for that purpose...? |

I have the AUG for medium/long-range. The g36 for support/supressing fire as it has the massive 2500-round clip, and the MP7 for close situations. The thing is; With the g36: If i take off the silencer (done in 1 sec) and use a standard clip, and fold the stock up, it becomes a REALY nice CQB-gun, with a massive RoF. Eats through the clip in 2 secs.. dono if that's good realy, but you get ALOT of plastic up in the air in a verry short time. The AUG and the g36 has both been modified a little and are actualy slightly over what we normaly allow in CQB. Anyway, as long as the MP7 is standard-equipt internaly, i always have that to fall back on if i get too close to open up with the others. I used to have a M870 BV, a G27 and a CAR15 but all besides the CAR15 wasn't fitting the playstyle i have. The M870 is slightly over 1 m long, and taking tight corners with a huge shotgun isn't always a good option. The fact that it ejected the shells was cool, but not practical, as you needed a special bag on it for catching them, and the shells could easily get stuck halfway if you pumped too fast, and thereby jam it fully. But, 10 BB's / shot gave a good chanse of hitting. Might get a M1100 sometime as i love the shotgun-concept and the M1100 is semi-auto, and can be modyfied to fully automatic with easy means. Hehe, 6 shells / sec @ 7 bb's / shell = massive firepower. The G27 has too small a clip for it to be usefull, but damn i loved that gun. I've tried quite a few, but NONE have had a harder kick then that. The CAR15 was wonderfull. Relf-retracting stock is perfect for CQB, as you could, if you learnt how to, make the stock compact into half size with a sertain shouldermove, and make it retract with the same move. Perfect for taking corners. Anyway, the AUG has a good punsh and is a perfect semi-sniper as the front-grip acts as a solo-pod (w000t. new word) and if you miss the first shot, you just pull the trigger more, and it goes to fullauto. no roundingabout with a selector The g36 has a verry high RoF (around 20 +-2/sec) and is great for support and cover advancing teammembers. Usualy i place myself at the end of a hall, and keep it clean until it's secured. If i need to advance, i replace the support-clip with a normal and is alot more mobile. Due to the tuning up done to it, it uses too much ammo, so with normal clips your almost FORCED to go single-fire, but thanks to the RoF you can never pull the trigger fast enough for it to miss out. Perfect for clearing rooms fast and efectivly.. 1 clip / room. The MP7... Have you ever tried an MP5 k/PDW you know the type. As it's a Machine Pistol, it has a moderat RoF, and the 50-round clip is enough for cover a retreat/reload if you'r pinned down. Next investments: Holter for the MP7 a RD-sight for the Aug Launcher/m203 for the g36 and a few nades OR a CAW-revolver for the same purposes.. the problem is the price. Just the revolver is 400 US$ EDIT: 410 US$ http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?i...ade%20Launchers

![]() I never understood how those grenade launchers work.
I have to agree on the AUG - monopod - sniper - thing. I have been practising with my friend's M6 a lot. Sniping is fun :w00t: ! Have you ever tried the short version of the Maruzen shotgun? The one with the front handle? My ideal combat set would be my M4 with an M203 grenade launcher, If I can get my hand on one, then maybe a very short shotgun, probably Franchi Spas-12, and a small AEG Handgun. What do you think? EDIT - About the AEG - isn't the magazine longer than the handle? Meaning you could only snipe someone on a lower level than you are because you have to tilt the AUG forward. |

![]() the 203 is basicly a huge SG-shell that blasts up to 170 bbs when fired.
alternativly it can fire a single large projectile, but it would be made of foam :/ The only SPAS12 avalible (my my knolige) is one by TM, and is a springer. I think you would be better off with a Maruzen M870 CS. About the AUG, well, preferebly you would be on the same level as the target bing an obsitle, so i've never had the shoot from the ground and up, but i could imagen that would give you a slight problem, yes.

![]() Okay, I changed my plans a little. I am going to sell the M4 to get an AUG myself. I was kinda pending between the G36c and the AUG. Can you recommend the AUG? I was planning on using it in the middle-field-area of the team, as a kind of semi-sniper-supporter. Which means I'd run along with 2 or 3 others one of whom would provide a huge base of fire, the other one running for the flag, and me sniping and covering.
Any other suggestions for my gear based on the description? Oh, I also need a backup weapon which I would use for sneaking around the flanks (we like to play in an area full of sand and trees). The weapon would have to be short, as precise as possible, and best have a good RoF. |

If you want to use it as a semi-sniper, you should concider getting a smal scope for it. As for secondary.. well.. if you'r looking for just a backup, get a Glock 18c or a Glock 26c. They are cheap, and have a high RoF. I use my MP7 for secondary though, but it's a bit "bulky" for most ppls taste. However.. an UZI might be something for you, as they come with some form of retractable stock also. Seriously though. Have you conciderd a M16? They have a much longer barrel then your M4. the AUG is a pretty special gun, and the M4/16-series are more common along with cheaper spare/upgrade-parts. Just a thought. btw, had my g36 chrono'd this weekend... not good Turned out it was WAY over the limits for indoor-use. The Aug was also slightly over the 106-limit.

![]() I will most definitely have my eye open for a Glock. The MP7 would indeed be to bulky for me, the same goes for the UZI, I guess.
As for the M16, well, I think it's just too long. I always liked the short barrel of the M4 and M15, even though the precision would definitely be increased at this length. Besides, I can't really make out any good AEG M16s. At least not below .5 J, which is my absolute maximum due to friends and teammates not wanting to go home without the welts Alex mentioned. What happened to your G36? I have no idea what chrono'd means. Tell me more. Oh, and I'll post the results of my search / evtl. purchase here. EDIT: Well, no AEG Glocks found. I am considering finding a new shop. As for the UZI, I reconsidered it when I found some suitable ones. But I'd rather get the big one with the folding stock than the mini UZI, which plain looks cheap. But for now, I'll stick to the AUG and keep looking for a pistol. |
