Technically, my "Beginner's Guide to DOSBox" was written for one of the earlier attempts to produce the zine.
If you think it needs any changes and/or trimming, just tell me.

Just a whack question here.

Do you Guy's/Gals think AB Times might need some stories? (Fiction)
I'm willing to write some.
(Just look @ my AB: Apoc & AB: Aftermath posts for examples)

All I need is a story pitch and a location to send the stuff to.
I'm Worthless when it comes to STARTING a story on my own, but I CAN continue when I have something to build on.

As you can notice I haven't said anything about the length of such story.
For that my comment is that ALL my AB: Apoc & AB: Aftermath posts are slightly reduced in length, so it would be easier to post them and that others could read them.

So. Interested?

Fan-fiction should be OK, as long as it's decently written.

Reading the title of a certain thread (''Pub''), I got an idea: Why not have a section with rumors? Like ''Bla bla might get back into the business'' or ''there might be a sequel to *whatever*''?

The problem is that the mag is a 3-4 monthly thing and any news would be either outdated or have to be added towards the release of the mag. A monthly mag is already outdated thanks to the Internet ...

Another idea I had which would be very interesting (I say so because it's very interesting to me, anyway ):

Articles about

- games that got cancelled
- games that looked completely different in early stages of development.

We can have a feature showing off early art for the latter and for the former, we can show screens and parts of previews and what went wrong. We might even try to contact some of the old development team to find out what went wrong and if they still have some things they can share with us.
