gta 2 could have been 3d (rockstar had a running prototype) but as they had to release it on playstation it was made 2d *kill sony**kill sony*

Wow!! nice to meet this game again. I playes this game long ago in 1998. It´s my favourite of all times. Ok, it havent 3d graphics but its very fun. And never crash or have graphical error. A little jewel i Think

hey if you like this gta, you should check out http://www.rockstargames.com/classics/ , here you can download both gta 1&2, and wild metal country (3d tank action, gotta get used to the controls) optimized for newer OSes (eg xp) and machines, and with the soundtracks added
only thing, they ask for an email to send you the link you can download the certain game you want i didnt get any spam yet, so i guess its a pretty nice treat |

you actually got through to the gta 2 download?????? i keep getting "high server demand" message or whatever so i got 2 from frenchkiss abandonware (i wasn't going to get through to the official download anyway)

One of the real good games
 I played it in 1997 when it was really brand new and I can remember that this game has been an innovation to the whole gaming industry. So, for me it is one of the #1 games of these days. |

GTA 1 and 2 were good games but GTA 3 series are kinda bad because they are too easy.

The things I remember most about GTA 1 and GTA 2 were the funny radio stations and the songs they did, those gave me a couple of laughs back in the day.
