I'm not allowed into the zoo anymore
So I've decided I'm going to keep nagging during the vacation until my parents get me a new kitty.

My summer plans probably involve a lot of sleeping and spending my time in a swimming pool (or a shade under the tree).
I've got a ton of books from Rainwife's grandmother's cellar, so I'm in for some heavy reading (brought home some 40 books - most of it I haven't read yet :Brain: ).

Besides that I'm to lazy to tell you how lazy I'll be :bleh:

I'm reading Children of Dune at the moment, but I'm not sure what I'll read afterwards... any suggestions (I'd like a fantasy novel, because I've been reading science fiction and realistic/political books all year now)

You could try and read the whole Wheel of Time series. He might even have written the next bit by the time you finished, too...

Well you can go for the advanced Dungeons and Dragons series (books like The rod of seven parts,...)

But I'd suggest you to read The Budda of the Suburbs (not fantasy or sci-fi, but I think you'll really enjoy it - and don't worry it's nothing deeply religious/philosopical; just a nice, easy and fun book for a lazy summer day).

Well that is another problem, I've heard of a few good writers, but there are so many books I wouldn't even know where to start. Sometimes the author wrote small series and one series is better than the other one... it's a bit of a dilemma... too much choice.

Gee, thanks for having pity on a simpleton like me <_< (don't worry, I got your point )

Perhaps I had better make a new topic for this, seeing as I don't want this to go off topic.

I would like to recomend the "War of the Spider queen" series.
Six books based on the D&D world, The strangest collection of individuals in a party and a pretty extreme mission ahead of them.
The best features about the series is that each book is by a different writer.
Makes each book more interesting than the last. k:
