or you can simply download the manual and look up the copyprotection word, thats what i miss about games today, big storytelling manuals.

and in my opinion it is the greatest RPG ever made, i cant remember even a tune from either Baldurs Gate or Fallot, but i still find myself humming the town theme from MM3 when im thinking hard. thats how great this game is :P

Been a while since anybody's commented on MM3. ! It remains a great game, though. I decided to play it for the first time since I reviewed it new, and got through to the end, then. Still plays very well, and with a better since of game balance and imaginative design than many more recent RPGs. Plenty of puzzles, too, which seem to have been thrown out since games are now being designed for kiddies, not intelligent teens and adults. I like the distinctive dungeons and surroundings, the variety of items, etc. Only wish they'd added some "personality" to the party you created, along the lines of the last Wizardry where you could choose voices that in turn affected the way they acted, but that added later on. Great title, in any case.

well voice was added later in MM6, but i think the parties in MM3 had enough personality with those faces they made when poisoned/crazed etc

The voices that were added had very few comments, and minor differences, compared with those found in the last Wizardry game. I especially liked the way the various party characters would comment upon certain events (such as another character's death) even if they weren't selected. There was more cleverness, variety, and better acting in this respect from Sir-Tech's title, than from NWC's.

Myself, I like personality. I really like what BG2 did with its NPCs, and what various modders have done since to expand upon that excellent work. Just my preference.

Smile IDing items

Hi, is there any way (spell?) to ID items rather than getting the blacksmith to do it?

Simply look into a weapon list like this:

A beginner's guide to DOSBox should get you started. If you have any specific questions, don't be afraid to ask.
